About the author – Mr. Alexander Elder
ALEXANDER ELDER, MD, was born in Leningrad and grew up in Estonia where he entered medical school at the age of 16. At 23, while working as a ship’s doctor, he escaped from a Soviet ship in Africa and received political asylum in the U.S.A. He continued to work as a psychiatrist in New York City, served as book editor of The Psychiatric Times , and taught at Columbia University. After becoming involved in financial trading, Dr. Elder published over 50 articles, software, and book reviews, and spoke at many conferences.

Trading for a living by Alexander Elder is an excellent book on trading , risk management and specially on trading psychology , there are three aspects of trading – Analysis , risk and psychology all have equal importance in trading and without mastering all three things no one can expect to become a professional trader , in this book the author not only explains the aspects of technical analysis but also explains how to master trading psychology and the risk management , this book is a must read for anyone who loves trading and wants to become a professional trader , i read this book a while ago but fell in love with it , the ease with which the author has explained things has made this book even more worthy , so in my opinion it is a must read.
